Upsilon Pi Epsilon Honors Society Inducts New Members

In recognition of student outstanding academic record, the New York Institute of Technology chapter of Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) induction ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 08, 2014 at the NYIT de Seversky Mansion on the Old Westbury campus.

UPE is an international honor society for students in the Computer and Information Sciences; it is recognized by both the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and the Computer Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE-CS), the two major international professional societies for Computer Science and Engineering.

The mission of UPE is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information Disciplines. UPE is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies (ACHS).
