NYIT Encourages STEM Education

From a national collaboration with the White House to a new Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Innovation Center on Long Island, NYIT is working to encourage students to pursue majors and careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). “Everything you touch has an engineering component,” said Nada Marie Anid, Ph.D., dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences, in a cover story in Long Island Business News on the need for students in STEM.
