NYIT’s Dean of the School of Engineering and Computing Sciences joined senior U.S. officials, engineering academic leaders, and Intel executives at the White House last week to address nationwide engineering student retention and graduation rates. Nada Marie Anid, Ph.D., a member of the Public Policy Committee of the Engineering Deans Council of ASEE, is collaborating with the group on a nationwide effort to measure, evaluate, and celebrate excellence in retention, graduation, and diversity in engineering education.
