Apply for the Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program

The Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program, or NREIP, provides an opportunity for students fto participate in research at a Department of Navy laboratory during the summer. The goal of NREIP is to encourage participating students to pursue science and engineering careers, to further STEM education by offering research experience and mentoring by professional laboratory personnel, and to make aspiring engineers aware of DoN research and technology efforts, which can lead to employment with the DoN.

NREIP provides competitive research internships to approximately 275 college students (both graduate and undergraduate) each year. Participating students spend 10 weeks during the summer conducting research in 29 DoN labs.

For more information, please consult the NREIP website. To apply, click here.
