Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) Workshops

DASA Workshop

New York State’s Dignity for All Students Act (DASA) seeks to provide the State’s public elementary and secondary school students with a safe and supportive environment free from discrimination, intimidation, taunting, harassment, and bullying on school property, a school bus and/or at a school function.

Effective December 31, 2013, all applicants for New York State teacher certification are required to complete six hours of coursework or training in this area. NYIT's School of Education is an approved provider of this coursework and will be offering a 6-hour workshop: in a 6-hour face-to-face format, or in a 3-hour online with a 3-hour face-to-face format.

Our workshop is open to non-NYIT students.

Tuition: $75 for the 6 hour required course
