Old Westbury, New York (Feb. 16, 2012)—This week, New York Institute of Technology welcomed 17 Chinese delegates from the Wuxi Municipal Government and NYIT collaborative partner China University of Mining and Technology (CUMT) to its New York campuses. The group discussed their next steps toward developing a series of joint-degree and short-study programs for students and faculty in New York and China, as well as the possibility of creating an international college in Wuxi, a prosperous city of 6 million citizens located between Shanghai and Nanjing.
