Nanjing, China (Aug. 29, 2011)—More than 300 incoming freshmen attended the 2011 New Student Orientation at NYIT-Nanjing.

 

Welcomed by Associate Dean of NYIT-Nanjing Keh Kwek, and Timothy Smith, Ph.D., assistant dean of arts and sciences, the new students met with faculty and staff during the two-day event, held from Aug. 27-28. In addition to mingling with their classmates and registering for classes, students watched award-winning entries from past campus film festivals and received an introduction to popular student activities on site.

 

“I hope they can enjoy their college life and that they’ll take advantage of the bilingual education of NYIT and NUPT,” said Tony Lei Tong (M.S. ’09), associate director of alumni and employer relations.
