Two teams from NYIT-Nanjing's School of Management won second prize in the finals of the 5th National Marketing Competition of Universities, Dec. 7-9 at Beijing University of Technology and Business. The competition was organized by the China Marketing Association and sponsored by Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co. Ltd., China's largest beverage company. The final competition tasked the teams with four components: compilation of actual Wahaha beverage sales results for June-November 2012, a computer marketing simulation challenge, creation of a marketing report, and presentation and defense of a marketing plan. The seven NYIT students were among 160 university teams who were finalists in their respective provincial level competitions.

Congrats to Team A leader Ji Mengqi who won the "Marketing Elite Award." His mentor Keh Kwek, associate dean of NYIT-Nanjing and assistant dean of the School of Management, coach the teams and accompanied students to the competition. He also served as a judge for the competition.
