Vancouver, Canada (May 9, 2011) — Celebrating the achievements of NYIT students in Canada, NYIT-Vancouver will host its first induction into the business honor society Delta Mu Delta on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Delta Mu Delta recognizes and encourages academic achievement among students who plan to manage creatively for both social and economic good.
“This is a wonderful milestone— the first Delta Mu Delta chapter ever on Canadian soil,” said Robert J. Koenig, Ed.D, associate dean of student advancement programs at NYIT’s School of Management and President of the university’s Delta Mu Delta Alpha Xi chapter.

“We congratulate Dr. Petra Dilling and look forward to having the opportunity to bridge our campuses together in strengthening our DMD Alpha Xi Chapter for the educational and professional benefits of our students and the School of Management,” Koenig said.
The first inductees at the new chapter will be Yekaterina Formicheva, Dongju (Daisy) Zhao, Wei (Will) Zhang and Jingjing (Jean) You.
