New Master’s Degree Program Opportunities at NYIT-Vancouver

New York Institute of Technology’s Vancouver campus is pleased to announce these new master’s degree program opportunities in some of the hottest industries around the world:

Master of Science in Information, Network, and Computer Security
We have received approval from the Minister of Advanced Education of British Columbia for our proposal to offer a Master of Science in Information, Network, and Computer Security (M.S.-INCS). This new master’s degree in the field of cyber Security is a cutting-edge program designed to prepare students for leadership positions in addressing a major challenge faced by modern organizations. The M.S.-INCS will be ideally suited for graduates of baccalaureate programs in computer science, engineering, operations research, mathematics, and related areas. The program is a two-year program (although particularly strong, well-prepared, and hard-working students could complete the requirements more quickly). We will be taking applications starting in September 2013 for a planned program start-up in January 2014.

Master of Business Administration with concentration in Finance or Tourism.
The highly sought-after M.B.A. has been the flagship program of NYIT-Vancouver for over a decade. We now have approval from the Minister of Advanced Education of British Columbia to add two optional concentrations to our already valuable M.B.A. NYIT M.B.A. students now have the opportunity to concentrate in one of these areas and receive either an M.B.A. (Finance) or an M.B.A. (Tourism). Each concentration is achieved by replacing the three elective courses (nine credits) with five courses (15 credits) specified for the concentration, extending the program by two courses (six credits).

All of the above are approved by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. (See http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/institutions/participants.asp) and recognized by the Canadian Information Centre for International Credentials (See http://www.cicic.ca/687/postsec.canada?id_postsec=2113).
