Career Speaker Events at NYIT-Vancouver Link Students with Industry Insiders

Vancouver, B.C. (Nov.30, 2011)—NYIT-Vancouver students are invited to meet prospective employers during two NYIT Career Speaker events on Friday, Dec. 2 and Friday, Dec. 9.

Hosted by NYIT-Vancouver Dean Julia Saurazas and Petra Dilling, associate dean and assistant professor of management, the two events are geared to help students enhance their career-oriented professional education, gain access to opportunities, and identify values and skills that will help them achieve professional success.

Employers from organizations such as Canaccord, BC Securities Commission, CGA, HRfx, Sears Canada, SunLife Financial, Taxi AdvertisingInc, and TD Canada Trust will provide information about career paths within their industries and answer questions from students.
