Please be informed that there are some changes in the admissions process to the M.B.A. program in Vancouver with regard to Indian three-year bachelor's degrees.
1. Graduates with Indian three-year degrees from NAAC "A" Grade institutions would now be able to get admitted directly to the NYIT-Vancouver M.B.A program. This means that applicants who have completed three-year degrees from NAAC "A" grade institutions in India will not be asked to submit a WES evaluation report at the point of admission to determine the U.S. four-year bachelor degree equivalency. To be admitted, an applicant must meet the admission criteria to the program.
Visit National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) to access the list of NAAC "A" grade institutions.
You may also visit World Education Services for information on equivalency of Indian three-year degrees.
2. World Education Services (WES) evaluation is no longer a mandatory requirement to determine waivable courses. To be considered for a waivable course waiver, a student must submit course outlines and descriptions of all undergraduate courses completed within the last five years of study.
The GPA of 2.75 on a 4.0 US grading scale (or its equivalent), IELTS score of 6.0 or TOEFL IBT of 79 or higher are needed to be considered for the MBA Vancouver program. Be advised that NYIT admissions office reserves the right to request a WES evaluation or any additional documents to determine the degree authenticity or the institutional accreditation if deemed necessary.
