Fourteen NYIT-Vancouver students raised the NYIT flag at the top of Grouse Mountain on Saturday, July 9. The two-hour hike, known as the “Grouse Mountain Grind,” spans nearly three kilometers and is nicknamed “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster” due to its steep incline. Once they reached the top, the group enjoyed a picnic and scenic views of the North Shore Mountains of Vancouver’s Pacific Range.
Led by NYIT School of Management Professor Abram Poczter, Ph.D, three NYIT-Vancouver students won the title of “Industry Champion” in the GLO-BUS online business competition for the week of June 27 to July 3. Read More.
NYIT-Vancouver held its annual graduation ceremony on June 10, 2011. The Class of 2011 included 27 graduates who celebrated along with guests including friends, family and alumni. The ceremony was followed by a luncheon at the University of British Columbia's Sage Bistro.
NYIT Vancouver will participate in the7th annual Vancouver International University Fair June 4, 2011 from 1:00 - 5:00 pm at the Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel (15269 104th Avenue, Surrey, BC V3R 1N5). NYIT staff will be available to talk about the MBA program on the Vancouver campus. The Vancouver International Fair is a free even open to the public.

NYIT-Vancouver’s commencement ceremony and graduation lunch was held on May 21, 2010. The class of 2010 included 27 graduates who celebrated along with 48 guests including friends, family and alumni. The ceremony and lunch were held at the picturesque Sage Bistro at The University of British Columbia.
NYIT's Global Admissions Office recently welcomed Prashant Srivastava as an associate director for recruitment. Srivastava is based at NYIT-Vancouver's campus and is currently on a extensive trip in India - which runs from July 15 through August 10 - where he is marketing NYIT and meeting with potential students.
