Bears Edged 1-0 by Highlanders
OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (Apr.3, 2011) – NYIT softball had a rough Saturday afternoon as they dropped both games of a doubleheader against Dowling.
Junior Natasha Milosevich (Torrance, Calif.) was a bright spot in the Bears’ offense. Milosevich went 2-for-4 with two singles and a walk in the doubleheader.
Game one of the doubleheader was controlled by Dowling from start to finish in route to a 14-0 victory.
Milosevich went 2-for-2 with two singles in the game for NYIT. But she received little help as the Bears bats remained quiet.
