Patty Wongpakdee's "Resurfacing Graphics" is a topic that explores unconventional designs, and stimulates the viewer to experience the graphics beyond the paper’s passive surface. It will relieve the viewer from the conventionality of the printed graphics we are bombarded with everyday. Designers, illustrators and artists will apply graphics in a unique manner that allows tactile interaction. While exploring surfaces and continuing to communicate succinctly and with impact, they are also having a positive effect on the environment. Wongpakdee examines how visual communicators are Resurfacing Graphics by transmitting their visual language using atypical surfaces and materials such as textile, wood, ceramics and even water to expand their creative breadth and continue the perpetual exploration for new ways to make a mark.
