Annie Christain, Ph.D. releases poetry/music album

Annie Christain, Ph.D, assistant professor of English, NUPT-NYIT International College, Nanjing Campus has released a poetry/music album entitled If True, She Had Clap from Everyone (Limbs of Leg Records) with her group Homunculi’s Baptism.  The album features surreal poetry, spoken word performances, Korean drumming and singing, and electronic music.  She has performed her poetry at such venues as The Woody Guthrie Festival in Okemah, OK; The Howl Festival in New York City; Aural Text 102.7 FM Triple R Radio in Melbourne, Australia; Word Food in Seoul, South Korea; The Michigan University/Charles University Prague Summer Program; and the Crossing Borders conference at NYIT’s Nanjing, China campus.  Her poem “MK-Ultra 2 (Montauk):  Return Me to Houyhnhnms” was published in the Arsenic Lobster 2011 Anthology.
