The International Facility Management Association (IFMA NYC) honored NYIT Alumnus and Advisory Board member, Ted Moudis at their Annual Awards of Excellence Dinner on January 26, 2012.
The Annual Awards of Excellence Dinner has honored industry professionals for the past 30 years. This year there were 75 nominees considered to receive nine awards. The awards were based on "participation and commitment to the chapter, commitment to sustainability and environmental awareness, contributions to their company in development, implementation or maintenance of a facility, dedication to developing a curriculum or teaching students in subjects related to Facilities Management, innovative design or their role as emerging leaders."
The honorees are determined by the committee with the exception of the Anthony Cornacchia Distinguished Service Award. This award was chosen by Brian Ostrowe, the current IFMA NYC president.
