Online Exclusive: Modern Artifact, The Story of Aluminaire House

Aluminaire House

When the Aluminaire House was unveiled in New York City in April 1931, it was an overnight sensation that emboldened an architectural movement. Over time, its fate would entwine with the impulses of a design movement, a neglected architect, and the struggle of preservationists from which NYIT professors would emerge to save it.

Read the story in NYIT Magazine.
