Favorite NYIT Experience:
My favorite NYIT experience was how I met my first and one of my closest friends at NYIT. My first class in college was an 8 a.m. chemistry lab, which I ended up being late to because of traffic. Since I walked in late, the professor paired with me a random group; one of the girls that I was paired with is now one of my good friends.

Why I Chose NYIT:
While applying to colleges, there were many different factors I took into consideration. I chose to go to NYIT for my four years of undergrad because it offered the major I wanted, I was awarded a generous amount for my scholarship, and it's close to home. Another determining factor was the campus size; I wanted to be at a small college, so that I would get to chance to know most of the people there.
