Zach Braff Speaks at NYIT Auditorium on Broadway

New York, N.Y. (May 17, 2011) – Zach Braff, actor, director, screenwriter, and producer, discussed his movie The High Cost of Living after a screening to the Screen Actors Guild Foundation at the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway this week.

With a $1 million budget, and zero dollars for advertising, Braff explained that his movie was “on track to disappear,” but was revived through word-of-mouth marketing via social media and interviews.

When discussing the difference between the dramatic roles he pursues in movies and his comedic character on popular television series Scrubs, Braff said, “ I want to do something that scares me, intimidates me, and challenges me as an actor. “

He told fellow actors in the audience that they need to be active and proactive in order to make things happen. “You need to be unstoppable,” he said.
