NYIT Athletics Volunteers with Toys for Tots

OLD WESTBURY, N.Y. (Dec. 20, 2011) - 
On Tuesday, Dec. 6 and Wednesday, Dec. 7, the NYIT Department of Athletics and Recreation, in conjunction with the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), held its annual Toys for Tots games against neighboring East Coast Conference foe C.W. Post.

Fans were asked in lieu of admission to bring a new and unwrapped toy to help bring some holiday cheer to needy children this season. The Toys for Tots organization, sponsored by the Marine Corps Reserve, has been actively involved in the distribution of toys for needy children each holiday season since 1948.
