Honorary Degree Recipients

Old Westbury N.Y. (April 29, 2014) – New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) will award honorary degrees to a respected leader in the banking financial sector and the award-winning Surgeon General of the U.S. Army. Both honorary degrees will be conferred during NYIT’s Commencement on Sunday, May 18, at its Old Westbury campus.

The recipients, who will be honored before an expected audience of 7,500, are Chairman and CEO of First Data Corporation (FDC), Frank J. Bisignano (above, right); and United States Army Lieutenant General, Patricia D. Horoho, Commanding General, U.S. Army Medical Command and Surgeon General of the U.S. Army (above, left).
