“My hope for your new journey—my challenge to you—is that you apply the perspective, knowledge, and skills that you have acquired with us—in our classrooms, hallways, laboratories, studios, and online—to a global landscape,” NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., told the graduates at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Center.

NYIT Board of Trustees Chair Linda Davila and NYIT College of Arts and Sciences Dean Roger Yu also traveled from New York to participate in the ceremony and congratulate the graduates.

In addition, two student speakers were selected to address the respective graduates of the bachelors and masters programs this year.

“Our years at university were special, full of joy, friendship, and unique experiences of prosperous learning,” said graduate student speaker Wessen Zoubi.

“Let us step forward knowing that the world is ahead of us” added undergraduate student speaker Layla Yousef. “There is nothing an NYIT graduate cannot accomplish.”

Since 2001, NYIT has been offering degree programs in Amman, the capital of the Kingdom of Jordan. NYIT-Amman’s programs lead to degrees in Computer Graphics, Information Technology, Business Administration, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Information, Network and Computer Security.
