Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (June 10, 2011) ─ Cheered on by friends, family and faculty, 65 students graduated at New York Institute of Technology’s fifth annual graduation ceremony in Abu Dhabi on June 9.

Guests gathered at the Armed Forces Officers Club to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2011.

“As new entrants in the workplace, you will find yourselves in the most inclusive economy ever, developing strategies and products that are enriched by human differences,” NYIT President Edward Guiliano, Ph.D., told the graduates. He encouraged them to solve problems that exist on a global scale “through both technology and compassion.”

Student speaker Daniella Melikian, was chosen to address her classmates because of her outstanding achievement and commitment to the university.
