ESNAAD Partners with NYIT-Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. (November 1, 2009)-New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) and ESNAAD today signed an agreement to jointly pursue research projects and support student scholarships. Three students were named scholarship recipients.

NYIT President Edward Guiliano and ESNAAD general manager Darwish Al Qubaisi signed the agreement at a ceremony on the NYIT campus in Abu Dhabi. Also present were Timothy Keating, NYIT-Abu Dhabi campus dean and several ESNAAD executives.

"As educators our noblest role is to create the knowledge and human capital that will serve the local and global communities now and in the future," said President Guiliano, Ph.D. "We are proud to be part of the important work and development of the Abu Dhabi business community and to work with such a distinguished company as ESNAAD. This type of collaboration we memorialized today is representative of how higher education and the corporate world can work together to educate future generations."

The three students ESNAAD is sponsoring with 75 percent tuition and course fees are: Khalifa Al Shehhi, Ibrahim Al Shehhi, and Ali Al Manea, students in the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program. NYIT's undergraduate program in business administration is the first American undergraduate degree program licensed and accredited in Abu Dhabi. ESNAAD plans to sponsor more NYIT students.
