Cast of The Good Wife Shoots Hoops at NYIT

Old Westbury, N.Y. ( February 3, 2010)- Actors from The Good Wife, a popular new television series on CBS, filmed a scene for an upcoming episode at New York Institute of Technology’s (NYIT) indoor basketball court at its Old Westbury campus.
Josh Charles, who plays lawyer Will Gardner on the series, was the star of the scene taped at NYIT’s basketball court, which will air on Tuesday, March 9at 10 p.m. on CBS. Charles is a veteran of television, film, and theatre, including major roles in HBO’s series In Treatment, Academy Award®-winning movie Dead Poets Society, Four Brothers, and Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead, among others.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the production of The Good Wife,” said David Wheeler, director of media and public relations at NYIT. “It was a great opportunity to experience the excitement of the entertainment industry right here in Old Westbury.”
Although Emmy Award winner Julianna Margulies was not a part of the scene shot at NYIT, her performance in The Good Wife has recently been awarded with a Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award for best actress in a drama series.
