New York, N.Y. (Sept. 1, 2010) – The NYIT Auditorium on Broadway will host a free screening of The September Issue, a documentary about Editor in Chief Anna Wintour of Vogue magazine and the publication of its landmark September 2007 issue, to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out on Friday, Sept. 10 in New York City.
The September Issue explores the creation of the 2007 publication, the heaviest magazine ever published at nearly five pounds, as well as Wintour’s team of innovative editors who are leaders of the fashion world.
A free cocktail reception will be open to the public at 6:30 p.m., followed by the screening at 7:30 p.m. The first 100 attendees will receive free gift bags. All guests must R.S.V.P to aob@nyit.edu.
Located at 1871 Broadway between 61st and 62nd Streets, the NYIT Auditorium on Broadway at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) is a new, multi-purpose venue contributing to Fashion’s Night Out, which is a global initiative offering public events throughout the world on Sept. 10 for designers, celebrities, models, and fashion editors to attend.
