Combating Cyber Security with 9/11 in Mind

New York, N.Y. (Sept. 8, 2011– Cyber battles are replacing traditional warfare, says Farshid Delgosha, Ph.D., NYIT’s assistant professor of electrical and computer engineering.

Delgosha speaks about taking cyber security more seriously in his interview, “10 Years after 9/11, Cyber Attacks Are Big Threat” on WebProNews.com. He explained that attacks are much more prevalent now because of mobile devices, which allow more consumers to have access to the Internet, causing increased opportunities for hackers to break into networks and steal information.  

“Individuals are becoming more confident in their online activity because that is where technology is taking us,” he said.

“We should be cautious,” he added.
