Human Resource Management
Establish yourself as a globally recognized human resource expert by earning the standard in human resource certification – SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP®) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP®) from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). New York Tech partners with SHRM to offer the SHRM Learning System™ as preparation for certification.
Essentials of HR
The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Essentials of Human Resource Management certificate program is designed to introduce you to the field of human resources or, if you’re a working professional, to strengthen your employee management skills. Offered in cooperation with the SHRM, this course covers real-life case studies taught by highly qualified New York Tech professors.
PayTrain Fundamentals (Payroll)
Learn fundamental payroll calculations, compliance issues as they relate to tax and regulatory information, and applications necessary for working in the payroll job sector. Our program will help you prepare for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) examination.
PayTrain Mastery (Payroll)
Learn advanced payroll topics and best practices as you prepare for the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) exam.
Treasury
The Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation is the only professional credential in cash management, serving as a worldwide benchmark of competence in finance. Our AFP Treasury Learning System™ prepares you for the CTP exam distributed by the Association for Financial Professionals (AFP). Topics include financial, treasury, risk, and working capital management.
Workshops for HR Professionals
Our HR workshops are delivered by New York Tech faculty and external professionals who bring deep experience to each program. These workshops are pre-approved by the Society for Human Resource Management for Professional Credits (PDCs), and by the HR Certification Institute for recertification credit. Topics include HR strategy, talent management, employee relations, benefits, HR development, and dispute resolution.
