How to Apply to Arthur O. Eve HEOP

How to Apply to the Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program?
If you meet the requirements listed in the Prospective Students Tab and are interested in the Arthur O. Eve HEOP program complete the NYIT Undergraduate Admission Application. Also, answer yes to the question that asks if you would like to be considered for admission to NYIT’s Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP). If you are a transfer student indicate the college/university where you were previously enrolled in an opportunity program. Placement in Arthur O. Eve HEOP is limited and, therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply early. Official copies of SAT scores, High School transcripts, admissions essay and two letters of recommendation must be forwarded to The Office of Admissions.
Students being considered for Arthur O. Eve HEOP will be contacted by a staff member to arrange for an interview. All Arthur O. Eve candidates will be interviewed by Arthur O. Eve HEOP staff members.
To verify eligibility, applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Arthur O. Eve HEOP office:

To verify eligibility, applicants are required to submit the following documents to the Arthur O. Eve HEOP office:
- Signed copy of the family's income tax forms from the year prior to the application and/or
- Official letter stating the exact amount of benefits paid during the previous year for each member of the household from social security, social service, veterans benefits, workers compensation, unemployment and child support.
