New York Institute of Technology has joined forces with the Quarterly Review of Wines, one of the world’s leading wine magazines, to present a group of unique awards celebrating the elite leaders of the food and wine community. NYIT in Brief.

The 2012 Gold Coast event marks its 15th anniversary, offering a unique opportunity to secure much-needed financial assistance for NYIT students while building a tradition of supporting each generation of NYIT scholars. This year’s event also recognizes previous honorees whose support inspired contributions from a variety of sources. Through their advocacy and generosity, past Gold Coast honorees have helped provide access to a career-oriented professional education for hundreds of promising students.

Gold Coast Classic 2012 will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park on May 3, 2012.
