The Center for Global Health facilitates the exchange of students between College of Osteopathic Medicine and other health institutions around the world.
In the summer of 2008, five College of Osteopathic Medicine students traveled to China, and studied at the Peking University Health Science Center, one of the premier institutions of medical education in China. The students had a chance to see how two philosophies of medical care are practiced, as they studied both traditional and modern Chinese medicine. The group included Anna Mardakhaveva, David Parizh, Jessica Chin, Vladamir Lakhter, and Vivian Siu.
Elizabeth Ann Sullivan is the first College of Osteopathic Medicine student to participate in a global exchange program, at the University of Heidelberg under the guidance of Siegfried Mense M.D.,
