The Partners Fund

The Partners Fund provides philanthropic support to students, programs, and facilities. Each year, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, corporations, and foundations assist in enriching the resources of the university by contributing to this fund. And each year, the total dollar amount raised from generous donors who believe in NYIT and in the success of our students continues to grow.








The Partners Fund supports:

  • Student programs and scholarships
  • Green initiatives
  • World-class faculty
  • Academic programs
  • Upgrades in computer laboratories
  • Campus improvements
  • The quality of student life on campus

Supporting Success

The Partners Fund helps fulfill NYIT's mission, which is to:

  • Provide career-oriented professional education. Last year, 82 percent of graduating seniors had a position in their field by graduation or continued on to a higher degree.
  • Offer access to opportunity to all qualified students. The Partners Fund helped NYIT provide financial aid to 89 percent of students.
  • Support applications-oriented research such as the real-world studies being conducted in medical research and alternate energy technologies.

Make a Difference

Donors to the Partners Fund see their philanthropic dollars as an investment in NYIT's future and a tribute to their own experience at the university. Others view their donation as an expression of gratitude and an acknowledgment of NYIT's role in their success.

Regardless of their motivation, all donors express confidence that NYIT will use their gift strategically to advance the university's mission.

Gift-Giving Levels

Leadership giving to the Partners Fund is recognized by the President's Society, which honors donors who contribute $1,500 or more in a single fiscal year (Sept. 1 - Aug. 31).

President's Society

  • Distinguished Member $10,000 - $24,999
  • Leadership Member $5,000 - $9,999
  • Merit Member $2,500 - $ 4,999
  • Member $1,500 - $2,499

The NYIT Partners Fund G.O.L.D. Club

The NYIT Partners Fund G.O.L.D. Club is a way for G.O.L.D. (Graduates of the Last Decade) to join together to make an impact on our community and world at large by supporting NYIT.
