Don is a vital 80 year old. Following his retirement as an Assistant Principal of Science in a NYC HS, he became an adjunct professor at Queens College mentoring new and upcoming teachers. His love of gardening has thrived during his retirement years, starting a gardening club in his co-op, beautifying his community, and taken on landscaping at his children's homes. He continues to thrive in his role as "Grandpa Science" teaching the next generation of children about science basics and writing books to engage children in this field. He continues to be physically fit, playing ping pong and walking daily either at the gym or out in the community.
