Essay

It is my pleasure that I am nominating my uncle Mr. Sukhdev Singh  as a Candidate for the ' Vitality in Aging contest. Mr. Singh was born and raised in Punjab, India. Later, he moved to America where he continues to live from last 15 years. He is my father’s elder brother. Growing up in a joint family I known my uncle to be a very strong man. He has come across few health issues along the way but somehow remains strong. Mr. Singh met with an accident in which he had a brain surgery and backbone surgery. Doctors recommended him to rest and stay behind from heavy work. Despite all the restrictions, he continues to remain active. He enjoys his life. He continues to maintain his house , as well as daily exercise. He promotes healthy eating in every way possible.

He is now almost 67 years old but still he continues to work as the Gas Station. His work is 2 miles away from his house, every day he walks to his work. He is mentally fit and keeps his work and house responsibilities very well and he continues to live healthy life and so as his family.
