Hans Erni is a 102 year old Swiss artist who still paints every day and whose creativity has not diminished over his long career.  He has created paintings which caused him to be a state foe and has won numerous awards for his art on stamps – all of which make statements about the world he lives in. For his 100th birthday he created two new stamps which were issued in March 2009.
