Biography
Susan Neville, Ph.D., RN, actively explores issues in health policy from collaborative partnerships and effective planning to nursing administration and education.
Her current research includes women at risk for breast cancer, and those who are in recovery from treatment.
Neville has been recognized for her extensive work in healthcare by the U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Nassau County Department of Health, and others. A member of many professional organizations, she frequently presents at national conferences and comments on issues in the media.
Before joining NYIT in 2005, Neville was the director of undergraduate programs at Hunter-Bellevue School of Nursing at Hunter College. She earned her Ph.D. in nursing theory and research at Adelphi University, as well as her master’s degree in adult health and nursing education and bachelor’s degree in nursing at Hunter College.
