Biography
Green has served as NYIT's Dean of the School of Education since August, 2012. Previously, she was associate dean of the Univeristy of Alaska Anchorage, where she conducted research on multicultural issues, diverse learning styles, and special education, with an emphasis on speech and language issues. Green holds degrees from Texa A&M University and the University of Texas at Austin. She previously served as an assistant professor at Buffalo Sate College (SUNY) and adjunct professor at Southwestern University in Texas.
Green has written several books, including: Motivating African American Learners in Reading (2009), African American English Speakers (2010) and book chapters (Multicultural Education: A Necessary Tool for General and Special Education, Education Children with Speech and Language Problems).
