NYIT Experience  > Athletics

The NYIT Bears and Lady Bears compete with schools throughout New York and neighboring states in the East, under the guidelines set forth by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA); all teams except baseball, which is a Division I team, compete in Division II. The teams, except men's baseball, are also part of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) and are playing members of the 12-member New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC).
