Introduce A Girl To Engineering Day

Each year, NYIT’s School of Engineering and Computing Sciences celebrates National Engineering Week by hosting girls ages 12-18 to increase their awareness about engineering and to pique their interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) fields. The ultimate goal is to encourage females to consider careers in engineering and computer science.

At the Manhattan campus event, Yvonne Thevenot, Executive Director for STEM Kids NYC, will speak about her experience as a woman in technology.
