Catherine Dangerfield
Vice President & Market Manager, TD Private Wealth Management

Catherine Dangerfield is a Vice-President and Market Manager for Private Wealth Management at TD Bank Financial Group for the Greater Vancouver Region. Catherine leads a team of highly trained professionals who provide expert advice to High Net Worth and Ultra High Net Worth clients by focusing on what is truly important to them to achieve. Prior to joining TD, Catherine was an Assistant VP of Business Banking at a large credit union where she wrote and implemented a strategy for growing the small and medium business segment. Catherine is a passionate mentor who has worked with women from across Canada and internationally. She has mentored with several organizations, such as the YWCA, Minerva, the Vancouver Board of Trade and the BC Cooperative Association. Catherine has worked with women who lead credit unions in developing countries since 2011, facilitating classroom training and field work overseas. In May she will be headed to Ghana in a capacity development role to help set up a sustainable mentorship program with female credit union leaders.

April Sather
CISO & Director, Innovation, Architecture, and Security Services, Pacific Blue Cross

As a leader on the Information and Technology Services team at Pacific Blue Cross, April Sather oversees Innovation, Enterprise Architecture and Security Services, and serves as the Chief Information Security Officer. April has extensive experience in innovation, continuous improvement, risk management, and security. April has over 20 years of experience in technology, professional services, operations and strategy across a range of industries in the public and private sector. She received her M.B.A. from the University of California, Irvine, and her bachelors degrees in Information Technology and Commerce from Bond University in Australia. In addition, April is a Lean Blackbelt, Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT).

Anicka Quin
Editorial Director, Vancouver Magazine & Western Living Magazine

Anicka Quin is the Editorial Director of Western Living Magazine and more recently, Vancouver Magazine. Under her leadership, Western Living has become a regional brand with a national reputation, winning Magazine of the Year in 2014, as well as Gold at the National Magazine Awards for Homes and Design Photography in 2016. Before joining Western Living and Vancouver Magazine, Anicka worked with Alternatives Journal and the alt-weekly id Magazine. She sits on the board of directors of the Canadian Society of Magazine Editors and works with Magazines Canada for their professional development series.

Mitch MacKay
Firefighter, North Vancouver City Fire Department

Mitch Mackay has been working in the education field for over 20 years, with students from all aspects of life. He has been a Teachers Aide and Special Education Aide for special needs and at-risk youth at both the elementary and secondary level. Mitch completed his teaching certificate in 2001 and has been a Teacher On-Call helping students from Grade 3 to Grade 12. In 2003, he pursued another dream: to become a firefighter. After completing the fire fighters course in Kilgore, Texas, Mitch became a full-time firefighter at the North Vancouver City Fire Department. His dedication to his community through fire safety and education are unsurpassed. With the knowledge he has gained over the past two decades from all of his students and co-workers he has created a down to earth approach to living life to the fullest.
