Sylvia Plath is one of the most frequently invoked poets in popular culture. While she is often referred to as a grim figure, as a poet she engaged a wide range of subjects and sought to depict the realities of women’s lives. In this talk celebrating the 90th birthday of Sylvia Plath, Dr. Golden will introduce the poet’s creative practices, drawing on the contents of Plath’s archives. Everyone is welcome!
