The up-to-date computing facilities provide Computer Science and Information Technology students and faculty with continuing opportunities to interact within the most advanced technological settings. A broad variety of computing classrooms and laboratories ranging from networked personal computers to workstations with different operating systems are provided for faculty and student access on all campuses. In addition to our computing facilities, the students with various minor concentrations have access to the following supporting laboratories:

  • Computer Security
  • Communicators/Microwave/Optical Network
  • Electronics
  • Neural Networks/Artificial
  • Image Processing
  • Other Special-purpose laboratories

 

Extensive equipment and facilities provide Electrical and Computer Engineering and Telecommunications students with numerous opportunities to interact within the most advanced technologies settings. These facilities include:

  • Access to LAN/Pentium Network
  • Electronic Laboratories
  • Microprocessor Based Systems Development Tools
  • Communications/Microwave/Optics Laboratories
  • Neural Networks/Artificial Intelligence Computer Laboratories
  • Image Processing Laboratory
  • Other Special-purpose Laboratories
  • Various special-purpose computing facilities

 

Extensive equipment and facilities provide Mechanical Engineering students with numerous opportunities to interact within the most advanced technologies settings. These facilities include:

  • Mechanical CAD/CAM Lab: modern computer lab with state-of-the-art PC and software Pro/Engineer and Pro/Mechanica, AutoCAD, Matlab etc.
  • Material Mechanics and Stress Analysis Lab: complete Material Testing Lab with CNC machine tools
  • Thermo-fluid Lab with variety of thermo-fluid experimental equipment and wind tunnels
  • Instrumentation and Measurement Lab
  • Aerodynamics Lab: Windtunnel testing, flow visualization, etc.
  • Rapid Prototyping and Manufacturing Lab
  • Various special purpose computing laboratories

 

Enviromnental Technology students have access to:

  • Geographical Information Systems (GIS) laboratory
  • OSHA - 40 Hour Hazardous Waste Operations Certificate training facility
  • Various other special purpose computer laboratory facilities
