Admission Requirements: Energy Management, M.S.

Who Should Apply

  • College graduates who are looking for a career in a growing field, which offers excellent compensation and interesting projects
  • Engineers or architects who are seeking advancement to executive positions, and need management credentials to supplement their technical skills
  • Any person who is planning to upgrade his or her career to take advantage of the exciting opportunities which have been created by advances in energy technology and the need for environmental protection
  • Facility managers who are responsible for controlling costs, complying with environmental regulations, and ensuring the comfort and safety of occupants
  • Business leaders who need to purchase energy supplies and services in deregulated energy markets, and creatively finance facility improvements

A bachelor’s degree is required for admission to graduate study in Energy Management at NYIT. A management or engineering background is desirable, but not required. All students must furnish official transcripts from all schools attended as part of their application.

Application Deadlines:

Fall semester: June 1 for international applicants, July 1 for domestic applicants

Spring semester: November 1 for international applicants, December 1 for domestic applicants
