Employer Partnerships (MSIT Trainer Program)

Looking for Organizations for Partnership Opportunities

The NYIT Master of Science in  Instructional Technology for professional trainers prepares experts for training employees. Our students use the latest  technologies  to help you identify training needs, create and deliver training modules, train employees through multiple formats at multiple locations, and more! We invite outside organizations to enter into partnerships for supporting the training experiences for our students. We hope to introduce these tools to your organization through the following partnership opportunities:

Internship Positions

Your organization provides internship opportunities for NYIT master’s students. Our instructors will collaborate with the intern’s supervisor to co-coach the interns. The interns can help you achieve the success of on-going projects. This is a great opportunity for your organization to experience trainers with great potential.

Professional Development Partnerships

Your organization offers a venue for courses for your employees. Our instructors will provide the instruction at your location.  Courses can be offered through multiple formats, including face-to-face, blended or online. A partnership will entitle your employees to discounted tuition.

We will create a scholarship title to recognize your organization’s investment to the next generation of leaders in the training field.  The scholarship is a great incentive to support students to accomplish their academic goals. Upon their graduation, your organization has the priority to meet with them and consider inviting them to join your team. The sponsorship of one student is $8,000 a year. The scholarship is also a demonstration of how your organization cares and supports initiatives that advance the field of learning technology.

If you are interested in establishing a partnership with us, please contact the program chair Dr. Sarah McPherson (516.686.1053). We will look forward to the opportunity to meet with you to exchange ideas and discuss details.
