Areas of Expertise

Dr. Perepiczka is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (NY), Certified School Counselor (Provisional-NY), Registered Play Therapist Supervisor, and Nationally Certified Counselor. Dr. Perepiczka has been providing counseling services in mental health and school counseling since 2007. Her areas of specialization are play therapy, domestic violence, and sexual assault. Dr. Perepiczka actively serves the Association for Assessment in Counseling and Education as well as the Association of Humanistic Counseling in multiple roles, including serving as the past president of the latter organization. Dr. Perepiczka’s research focus is in counselor development and wellness, statistics anxiety of graduate students, and outcome-based research. Dr. Perepiczka is also the Chi Sigma Iota Faculty Advisor.
