Cyber-Enabled Learning Summer Workshop for Cohort 1
The third workshop of the cyber-enabled learning program was held at the NYIT Old Westbury Campus. 11 teachers in the first cohort from the Queens borough participated in the workshop. The two-weeks long workshop prepared teachers to use ICTs and cyber databases to condcut scientific inquiry. Our teacher leader Ms. Cindy Roter piloted the module in her classrooms and shared her experience with the cohort. Teachers enjoyed the program and expressed strong improvement of their skills and knowledge in ICTs, new literacies and inquiry.
