Updates - Cyber Enabled Learning

Cohort 2 workshop on photosynthesis
The Cyber-enabled Learning Program, led by Drs. Shiang-Kwei Wang and Hui-Yin Hsu of the School of Education, conducted the photosynthesis workshop for cohort 2 teachers at the NYIT Manhattan Campus. The central technologies we adopted in this module are video and imaging. Teachers learned how to facilitate students to use video and imaging tools to support scientific inquiry.
Dr. Hsu discussed the new literacy framework with teahcers.
Graduate students John and Ed demonstrated how to setup the experiment and use video as data collection tool.
Teachers used iPad to create slowmation video.
