A Conversation with the Provost for Tenure-Track Faculty Members  Time: 12:45 p.m.- 2:10 p.m.

Tenure-track faculty members are invited to an informal conversation with Dr. Rahmat Shoureshi, Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs, who will answer your questions and share his perspective on the reappointment, tenure, and promotion processes at NYIT.

Faculty members have the option of asking questions during the session or submitting questions online, in advance of the workshop, to be compiled anonymously.

Announces the following workshop open to all faculty at NYIT and neighboring institutions


NSF Grant Opportunities and Trends in Cyberlearning and Educational Technology

Presenter: Dr. Christopher Hoadley, Program Director, National Science Foundation


In this session, NSF program officer Chris Hoadley will describe funding opportunities at the National Science Foundation for research on and with educational technology, with a particular focus on the cyberlearning and future learning technologies program and other programs for educational research. Additionally, tips and advice for submitting proposals to NSF will be discussed. This workshop will be in an interactive format with opportunities to find potential collaborators and to ask questions about submitting.
