Faculty Writers' Circles - Organizational Meetings (Sept. 14 and 21)
If you are currently working on a manuscript, book proposal, grant, or other scholarly writing, consider joining the Faculty Writers’ Circle for the 2010-2011 academic year. Each month, members of the group review one person’s manuscript. The cross-disciplinary nature of the group keeps the focus on the organization and clarity of the manuscript. Participants often find that their manuscripts are accepted with minimal or no revisions.
This group meets monthly throughout the academic year and requires a 1-year commitment. For more information, please join us at the organizational meeting, when we will discuss the process in more detail, identify a time to meet during the fall semester, and schedule presenters for each month. Please register at http://tinyurl.com/2wfhkma and join us at the organizational meeting to learn more. Bring your Fall 2010 teaching schedule and your calendar.
